Spring is finally here and Easter is right around the corner.

I love a good Holiday Gift Guide to help me with my shopping because sometimes I need some inspiration on where to start!

It’s that time again! What did I read in September? I read a few things and actually listened to one book on Audible. I love listening on my ride to and from work and if you aren’t someone who loves to sit down and read , Audible is a great way to “read” some of my favorites!

As I write this it is 85 degrees out, but fall is right around the corner and everywhere you shop has all their cozy flannels, sweaters and shackets out.

First off let me say I did a lot of reading this summer! I am excited to share with you a few of my hits and misses. Reading is an escape for me and I love a book that I can read quickly on vacation or over the course of a weekend. Check out what I read this month.

Some may say I am a minimalist when it comes to beauty. I take my skincare very seriously but I do not spend as much time on my hair and makeup.

June was a very busy month around here with school ending, graduations, parties, etc but I always made time for reading! I would rate all of these a 4 to 5 star, they were all so good in fact some I finished in one day!

Can I tell you a secret? The first big trip my now husband and I ever went on together was to Mexico. I was so excited, I mean who doesn’t want to be whisked away to a week in Paradise! Bags were checked, passports ready, wheels up and wait for it…

If you are anything like me, you book your next vacation while you are on the current one. Just me? I dream about vacations and where I am going to travel next in the world.

Being a mom in your 40’s does not mean you can’t wear all the latest styles and fashion trends. Ok well maybe not all (think crop tops and booty shorts) but in our 40’s we can still rock all the latest fashion finds out there and do it for less. Its not secret I am addicted to shopping.

The sun is setting again and summer is quickly coming to a close. I always wonder why it has to go so fast.

Twelve years ago we built our dream home, a farmhouse with a traditional wrap around porch. Over those twelve years styles have changed and Pinterest has become a thing and now I am always wanting to update.
